No wrong choice
How the money-back guarantee works
Decide you’d rather have an agent sell it? We’ll connect you with a full-service broker we recommend, and we refund every dollar you paid FSBO Listed once you sign their listing agreement. You don’t lose money for trying to save money.
Five steps
- 1
Ask from your dashboard
Any time your listing is active, open the My listing tab and tap “Switch me to full service.” Add a note if you like, such as the best time to call.
- 2
A full-service broker we recommend calls you
Usually within one business day. They’ll walk through the market, the list price and how they’d sell your home, and answer your questions. There’s no obligation to sign.
- 3
Agree on a price and sign within 30 days
If you decide to go ahead, sign their full-service listing agreement for the same home within 30 days of your request.
- 4
We refund every dollar you paid us
Everything you paid FSBO Listed for that home (your plan, any upgrade and any renewals) goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days of signing.
- 5
We take your FSBO Listed listing down
So there’s only one listing for your home, we remove it from our homes search, the hotline and the MLS. Your new agent takes it from there.
Questions
- Can I use any agent I want?
- You can always hire any agent you like, but the refund applies when you list with a full-service broker we recommend. That’s how we can stand behind the agent and the guarantee.
- Do I pay the full-service agent?
- Yes. Their fee is set in the listing agreement you sign with them, and it’s between you and them. The guarantee is that you don’t pay twice: we give back everything you paid us.
- Is there a deadline?
- Ask while your listing is active, then sign with the recommended broker within 30 days of asking. After a sale closes, or once your listing is withdrawn or expired, the guarantee no longer applies.
- Do I have to give a reason?
- No. Maybe showings are more than you want to handle, or you’d rather have someone negotiate for you. Either way, just ask.
- What if I talk to the agent and decide not to sign?
- That’s fine. Your FSBO Listed listing stays up as it is, and you can keep selling it yourself.
