FSBO Listed text messages

FSBO Listed sends two kinds of text messages from its 24/7 property hotline, 888-831-FSBO (3726). Both are sent only to people who asked for them, and we never send marketing or promotional texts.

  1. Seller alerts: home sellers who list with us can choose to get a text when someone calls the hotline and asks to reach them about their listing.
  2. Listing links: buyers who call the hotline about a home for sale can ask us to text them a link to that home’s page on fsbolisted.com.

1. Seller alerts

How sellers opt in

Sellers sign up for a listing on our website at fsbolisted.com/start. On the “Review and agree” step, there is a separate checkbox, unchecked by default, labeled “Text me when a hotline caller wants to reach me.” It is optional and not required to buy a listing. The consent text names FSBO Listed as the sender, says the texts are account notifications about hotline callers, and discloses that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, with links to our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Confirmation sellers receive

FSBO Listed: You're signed up for hotline alerts. We'll text you when a caller wants to reach you about your listing. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Example alert

FSBO Listed hotline: Jane Smith called about 123 Main St. Call or text them at (423) 555-0100. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency varies with how many people call about the listing. Alerts stop when the listing ends.

2. Listing links for buyers

How callers opt in

When someone calls the hotline about a home for sale, the hotline gives them the home’s details. If the caller wants the listing on their phone, the hotline asks for permission first, in these words:

“Would you like me to text you a link to this home? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out.”

We send the text only if the caller says yes, and only to the number they are calling from. Each request gets one text with one link to a page on fsbolisted.com. We don’t use link shorteners, and we don’t send any follow-up texts.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. FSBO Listed does not charge for texts.

Stopping texts and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (423) 777-6588 or [email protected]. Sellers get the same caller details by email whether or not they get texts.
